Muira Puama

Muira Puama, also known as potency wood, is native to Amazon rainforest. The Amazon natives (both men and women) have used this plant for centuries as an aphrodisiac. It is one of the most active botanical with a long history of traditional use as an energy tonic, general health improver and remedy for impotence & sexual insufficiency. It contains long-chain fatty acids, plant sterols, coumarin, lupeol, and the alkaloid muirapuamine. They are used for a variety of ailments by indigenous peoples in South America.
